After a successful first run in Adelaide earlier this year, Heaps Good is back. The one-day festival is bringing Flume, Foals, the Avalanches and more to three Aussie cities.
Earlier this year, Heaps Good saw the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Chvrches and Peggy Gou grace the stage at Adelaide Showground. This summer, the festival returns – first to Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on New Year’s Eve, before making its way up to Brisbane’s Sandstone Point, and then heading back to its debut site in Adelaide.
The day-long festival will play host to some major names in the Australian music industry. Homegrown heroes, including Grammy award-winner Flume, the Avalanches, and MAY-A will be making an appearance, as will a number of noteworthy international acts such as Brit award-winner Foals, Basement Jaxx and Declan McKenna. And while much of the line-up at this year’s festival is the same across all three cities, there is some slight variation. Basement Jaxx, for example, is a Melbourne exclusive, while Declan McKenna will miss the city entirely (playing only in Adelaide and Brisbane).
Those lucky enough to nab tickets to the Adelaide leg of the festival (the festival’s debut city) will be treated to a dedicated sound stage, Sound Archive, where you can catch a stacked line-up of renowned electronic acts – including Mall Grab, KETTAMA, Logic1000 and Denim – as they hit the festival with their high-intensity tunes.
